After debuting to less than stellar ratings, ABC has decided to re-air the two-hour, season two premiere of Agent Carter this Sunday. This is a smart move on the network’s end, one that should help to gain at least some more interest in the show as it fills in for Quantico, a series that shares some similarities with Agent Carter. Also good news? They’ve confirmed that the third episode will also re-air that Sunday following its original air date.

Here are the press releases from ABC:

Episode 2×01:“The Lady in the Lake” (1/24)

It’s been interesting to see how they’ve handled both Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter. When it comes to S.H.I.E.L.D., they waited quite some time after the first season finished to release it on Netflix, but went ahead and released the second season on the service shortly after it ended. With Carter, however, they’ve released the DVD & Blu-Ray, approximately six months after the first season completed. The series has yet to Netflix, and was only made available on their site to stream in full for a week leading up to the premiere of the second season.

To say that the network missed out by not releasing the first season on Netflix is putting it lightly. So it’s nice to see them trying to truly market the show with the re-broadcasts on Sundays.

Agent Carter airs Tuesday’s on ABC. Be sure to tune in!
