At this point last year, fans were left wondering if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would go on to get a third season, as ABC has typically waited until May to announce renewals and cancellations. Of course, that isn’t a concern this year as the series was given a season four pick-up not too long ago. That makes knowing that the show has just wrapped production on its third season easier to tolerate, knowing that the writers had enough time to properly set up a fourth season ahead of time, while also making sure to tie-up any loose threads from over the course of this season.
So sorry. Missed the Tweetness Just wrapped season 3. How was the episode? #AgentsofSHIELD

Unfortunately, while we know that our favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. agents will return next year, there’s still no word on the fate of Agent Carter. With ABC Upfronts set for May, it’s more than likely we’ll get some official news then, but going off of recent articles from various trades, it’s not looking good at the moment. (On a happier note, Deadline seems to believe Marvel’s Most Wanted is a sure bet for a series order!)
There are only three more episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Fallen Agent story-line remaining, and it seems as though we’ll definitely be losing someone on the team once everything is said and done. Who do you think it’ll be? Sound off in the comments below!
And make sure to tune into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC this Tuesday!
