A Black Widow solo movie is something we’ve all wanted to see for a long time now, and it seems that we’ll finally see it… at some point in the future. That said, Anthony Mackie, a.k.a The Falcon, is now chiming in to show that he also wants this movie to happen.
Hitfix spoke with Mackie about his latest film on HBO, All The Way, and in the interview they spoke about the possibility of a Black Widow solo film.
Mackie speculated, “If they made a Black Widow movie, it would be more of a spy espionage-type movie, which would be great, to see a female James Bond or something like that.”
Mackie further said that Black Widow “needs a bit of aerial support” and that he would love to be a part of the film.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Scarlett’s, and I’ve always, since I met her, just really admired her as a person. So in whatever capacity I would be used — Falcon would fly for Black Widow.
Falcon previously spent time on screen in both Captain America: The Winder Soldier and Captain America: Civil War with Black Widow and from everything we’ve seen, the two characters would work incredibly well on screen together. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see how it all comes together. Personally, I’d absolutely love to see this pair together in their own film! What about you?
