Sam Neill, a star best known for his work in Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III (having sat out the sequel) revealed some big news in an interview with Short List – confirming a rumor we reported a couple weeks ago.

Short List: Has [Taika Watiti] tapped you up for future Marvel stuff or anything like that?

Sam Neill: Oddly enough, I’m not really allowed to say this, and I can’t tell you what it is… I did a couple of days on Thor, just before I came over here.

As he noted, Neill didn’t reveal what character he’d be playing, but his three Golden Globe nominations certainly insinuate that he’ll be a great addition to the MCU.

Neill followed up his comments with a joke (hopefully) about Marvel’s secrecy:

I had to sign all sorts of things that say if I say anything else, Marvel’s Secret Agents, and they are lethal, will come and get me, and probably my children as well.

Who are you hoping Neill will play in Thor: Ragnarok? We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, let us know who your picks are in the comments below!

Thor:Ragnarok will be released on November 3rd, 2017, and boasts a cast of Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Cate Blanchett (Hela), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk), Idris Elba (Heimdal), Karl Urban (Skurge the Executioner), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), and apparently, Sam Neill.
