With Daredevil a little over a week away, we have seen trailers with very short glimpses of Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal interacting as Daredevil and The Punisher, but nothing substantial. Fans have been waiting to see how these two characters will play off each other in live action ever since it was announced that Frank Castle would be appearing in season two of the Netflix hit show.

The time is finally here. IGN has shared an interview with Charlie Cox where he discusses how fast the interaction between Daredevil and The Punisher begins. Where season one took four episodes for Daredevil to meet his adversary, the action is going to come far faster in season two.

While I’m rarely distracted from Charlie when he speaks, my real excitement for this interview is that it has clips from an actual scene in the show, with Daredevil and The Punisher discussing their differing world views.

Of course, they are having this conversation while Daredevil is chained to a chimney. This is a classic scene from the comics that fans have hoped for since the initial announcement that The Punisher would be in Season Two.

In case you thought that Frank and Matt might leave that roof after talking things out and becoming “besties”, the Daredevil Tumblr account has posted two new moving posters that push home the fact that Frank isn’t going to play nice.

The first poster is with Daredevil’s helmet in The Punisher’s hand, with blood dripping off the sides. It is with the words “Hell’s Kitchen isn’t big enough for the both of them.”

The second says “Punishment will Find You.”

Today, it definitely isn’t looking good for Matt Murdock. What do you think of Bernthal’s portrayal of The Punisher? What other scenes are you hoping to see in Season Two? Let’s talk about it all, while we wait for March 18, when we can see Daredevil Season Two for ourselves.
