We have gotten a steady dose of news lately surrounding the second season of Daredevil. There have been looks at Punisher and Elektra, two fan-favorite characters joining the series in season two, as well as Daredevil himself. Now that we are in 2016, we’re officially only a few months out from the release of the second season. Recently, thanks to a small bit of information revealed during Entertainment Weekly’s spread on the upcoming season, it was stated that Daredevil would be returning in March of this year instead of April as originally expected.

The March date, however, appeared to be unconfirmed, but now thanks to Comicbook.com, that seems to be an accurate time frame. They are reporting that season 2 will debut on March 25, 2016. If that date sounds familiar to you, it’s because there is a pretty big movie coming out from Marvel’s competitor that day.

That’s right, Daredevil season 2 will apparently go head to head with DC’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This is not on the level of Marvel and DC both putting out a major release on the same day, but it could take a bite out of the box office returns for DC.

Maybe there really is a war brewing between DC and Marvel.

Season 2 of Daredevil will reportedly debut exclusively on Netflix on March 25, 2016.
