We are less than two months away from Elodie Yung making her MCU debut as Elektra when Season 2 of Daredevil hits in March. Her inclusion in the show was met with some backlash from comic artist, Frank Miller.

This season will be run by Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, instead of Steven DeKnight. Petrie recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Miller’s comments and responded by taking the high road.

God bless him, it’s his prerogative. I’m a huge fan of what he did, so the [criticism] doesn’t go both ways. I wouldn’t say, ‘What does Frank Miller know?’ I’m so inspired by him and what he achieved and I’m trying to take it further and enrich her. She’s an empowered woman with her own agency, she’s nobody’s victim.

We will have to wait and see how Elektra is portrayed and so far, we have seen very little of the character in images and footage. However, Man Without Fear has posted a new promo image showing off the hero with the new synopsis.

The image does not show anything new and honestly looks like a fan Photoshop. The figure of Daredevil in the photo is the exact pose that he sported in recent images.

Season 2 of Daredevil will debut exclusively on Netflix on March 18th at 12:01 PST.
