The character of Doctor Strange is someone who used magical spells and devices to help him combat evil. So far we have seen what his powers will look like and some explanation as to what he can do, but make no mistake, Strange will be much more than a sorcerer in Doctor Strange.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the star of the film, Benedict Cumberbatch, talked about the physical nature of the character saying,

There’s a huge amount of physicality. He’s physically a very strong presence in the world. His hands are no longer capable of the fine skill needed for delicate surgery but physically he’s still strong. There’s a lot of running. There’s a lot of craziness: falling, flying, jumping, fighting, punching, getting punched. It’s really rough and tumble.

Thanks to his crippled hands, I do not expect too much punching from Strange but in a movie that is sure to filled with magical duels and interesting visuals, a good ole fashioned hand-to-hand fight could be a good change of pace during the film.

Doctor Strange is scheduled to hit theaters November 4, 2016.
