While most of the focus has been on the TV side at NYCC this year, we did learn some things concerning the film side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only were a few castings announced for the upcoming Black Panther film, but stars such as Ant-Man‘s Evangeline Lilly were on hand to promote their own, non-Marvel-related projects. Of course, given her role within the MCU and her future as the Wasp, it was only a matter of time until someone asked her about whether or not she’ll part a part of Avengers: Infinity War.

Taking some time out to speak with the folks over at Blastr, Lilly revealed that while she won’t be in Infinity War, she will definitely be in the fourth Avengers film. The reason behind this? With Ant-Man and the Wasp not set to hit until 2018, Marvel wanted to give the character a proper introduction instead of just tossing her into a group film.

You can watch the full interview with Lilly above.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will hit the big screen on July 6, 2018, while Avengers: Infinity War will hit on May 4th, 2018, with Avengers 4 following on May 3rd, 2019.
