As we enter the third day of NYCC, Marvel has already unleashed a slew of surprises. (Need to catch-up? You can follow all of the NYCC news by heading here.) From casting announcements for The Punisher, as well as confirmation that we’ll see that series in 2017 too, Marvel has also announced some Black Panther castings, while also giving fans at the convention the chance to watch next week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. early. Today, however, should prove to be an even bigger day for the entertainment giant as it’s the day of the Iron Fist panel.

With only hours to go until series star Finn Jones is set to take the stage alongside some of his fellow co-stars, he has announced that production has officially wrapped on the first season of Iron Fist. This isn’t entirely surprising, as the series was expected to wrap shortly with the start of The Defenders only weeks away now, but it’s nice to know that filming is officially complete.

The series, which has been filming in New York since April, has only confirmed six cast members, so it’s safe to say tonight’s panel at NYCC should bring about plenty of news. We could possibly even receive confirmation concerning the inclusion of characters we’ve heard about such as Davos and Shang-Chi. It’s also entirely possible we’ll see a full trailer for the series. What are you hoping to get from the panel tonight? Sound off in the comments below! And if you’re not already, be sure to follow us on Twitter as we’ll have reporters on hand at the panel to tweet out any news!
