Now that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have struck a deal surrounding the Spider-Man character, fans are anxiously awaiting the 2017 release date of Spider-Man: Homecoming, in the hopes that the franchise will have finally found a home worthy of the beloved character.

Now, thanks to ComicBookMovie, we have our first glimpse at some set footage from the set. The footage is certainly intended to be a comical moment in the film, but when it stands alone, it may be slightly uncomfortable to watch.

The videos feature Tom Holland running into an alley, stripping down to his underwear, and suiting up as Spidey, and unless Holland really is Spider-Man, it’s probably in preparation for a fight scene somewhere in the film.

So there it is, the first footage from the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, and if the movie fits the comic standard set by this clip, it’s sure to be a great addition to the MCU.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is set for release on July 7, 2017, and stars Tom Holland as the titular hero, with a supporting cast of Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau, and a slew of other stars.
