Update: Just Jared has posted a few more photos from the set, this time showing off Peter Parker dawning a school sweatshirt. Again, these photos are not ground breaking in terms of the content shown, but they are certainly aiming for a more traditional nerd or geek like the origin Spider-Man films as opposed to the cool/hipster version we got with Andrew Garfield.
You can read the original report below.
Less than a week after Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 officially wrapped, Marvel Studio’s next film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, has officially kicked off production. And surprisingly, we already have our first look at some of the cast members making their way to set. Courtesy of the folks over at Just Jared!, we have our first looks at Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Zendaya, and Tony Revolori on set. (All of which can be viewed above.) As of right now, nothing has been officially revealed regarding just who Zendaya and Revolori are playing, although it’s been said Zendaya is playing “Michelle” and Revolori is said to be playing “Manuel” – again, none of this is confirmed at the moment.
While the photos don’t show anything too interesting, it’s still exciting to know that production is now underway. With that said, we can probably expect an official cast list/press release over the next week or two. For now, you can catch-up on all of the casting announcements made so far by heading over here.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to hit the big screen on July 7th, 2017.
