Following on the announcement a couple weeks ago of a Spider-Man: Homecoming panel at the 2016 CCXP – Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, Brazil comes the news that James Gunn, director of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 film will also be in attendance to address the new film specifically.
The CCXP website reports the following information:
(Translated) Especially for Marvel fans, James Gunn, director of the movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 will do a panel on what the public can expect for one of the most anticipated sequences of next year…The panel will take place on December 3 of CCXP.
According to the Brazilian site Omelete, the director will have more than just things to say about the film:
(Translated) In addition to discussing the next Marvel Universe film, which opens in May 2017, Gunn will also show content from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
That is likely what most attendees are looking forward to…our actual looks at the new film have been slim, but (like space suits) fun:
Hopefully, any look beyond the teaser that gets shown to the crowd at CCXP will be available for the rest of us who cannot make it shortly thereafter. If you go, be sure to mention in the comments below what may in store for the rest of us!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens May 5, 2017, in the US.
