While there have been a few Marvel films that have had their fair share of drama, none of them have had as many issues as Marvel’s Inhumans, a film that was originally announced in 2019 before being pulled from the schedule altogether earlier this year. Of course, prior to that, there were countless rumors surrounding the project, but throughout it all, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has always insisted that an Inhumans film is still coming – eventually. And he restated this once again last night in an interview with Coming Soon, assuring fans that we’d see the royal family on the big screen in the future.
“We’ve announced through 2019, we have ideas through 2021 – it sounds like the future but it’s not so far away – we’re determining what we’ll be doing then and certainly Inhumans will be a part of that.”
There’s no denying that this film’s history isn’t frustrating for fans eager to see some of their favorite characters brought to life. However, Feige is (for the most part) honest with fans regarding forthcoming projects, so I like to think he’s still hard at work fitting the movie in somewhere on the Phase Four schedule.
