MTV was able to set down with the man himself, Kevin Feige, to talk about Marvel’s Phase Three line-up, as well as what they have planned beyond Infinity War.
Some things worth noting from the interview:
Captain Marvel: Kevin states the search for the actress to play Captain Marvel is still in the early days, and that they are focusing on writers right now, and that they are very close.
Spider-Man: He talks about both Peter and Miles, and explains why they decided to go with Peter. He does go on to say that there are possibilities for Miles if this goes right.
Doctor Strange: He mentions that they will be shooting Doctor Strange primarily in London. He also goes on to reaffirm that the film will begin filming in November. As for what accent Cumberbatch will be using in the film, Feige states they haven’t decided on that just yet.
Thor: Ragnarok: He states that the writers are currently working on the script for Thor: Ragnarok, and that there isn’t a director attached yet.
Beyond Phase Three: He briefly talks about how they’ve joked about phases beyond Phase Three, but that their main focus is Phase Three right now.
Avengers: Infinity War Parts 1 & 2: Feige also talks about Infinity War Parts 1 & 2 serving as two seperate films.
Captain America: Civil War: And finally, it looks as though we know when Captain America: Civil War will actually begin filming. According to Kevin, they are set to start filming in two weeks.
The next Marvel movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron, is set to hit theaters on May 1st, 2015. And you can expect the trailer for Ant-Man, which will close out Phase Two, to hit the internet sometime on Monday.
And while you’re waiting for both of those, you can binge watch Daredevil over on Netflix!
