Last year around this time, there was a divide online about whether or not Marvel should be ditching San Diego Comic-Con. The reasoning was Disney’s upcoming D23 Expo that allowed Marvel to control the setting, security, and what was shown. Even though the larger part of the MCU was absent from SDCC, we still had a presence as usual from Marvel Television that included panels for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter. Recently we have learned that Marvel will be attending this year and offered up some potential announcements for the movie side. Now we already know that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will show a teaser and recent rumblings point to a preview for Luke Cage being shown as well. Marvel has now made Luke Cage‘s presence official and more with the following press release.
