Ant-Man Concept Art
Marvel’s Ant-Man officially hit movie theaters last month, and while it wasn’t the huge hit some fans hoped it would be, the film has done just fine at the box office and fans have been eager to see Paul Rudd‘s Scott Lang return within the MCU. While we’re still awaiting news of a possible sequel, fans will be able to see Rudd suit up again as Lang next year when Ant-Man appears in Captain America: Civil War.
Until then, concept artist Andy Park has unveiled a few pieces of concept art that he worked on for the character, one of which offers an entirely new viewpoint of Lang’s costume.

Jeremy Renner Open To Appearing On S.H.I.E.L.D.
Ever since Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was announced, fans wanted to know if any of the Avengers would end up making an appearance. At that time, fans still weren’t sure what the show would be and what types of characters it would feature, so many presumed they’d be bringing in the Avengers cast since it was being referred to as an Avengers spin-off by various outlets.
But while S.H.I.E.L.D. has managed to grow into it’s own thing, bringing new characters into the MCU while still managing to act as a connective thread for the films, that hasn’t stopped the show from bringing in some of the big guns. Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), and Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) have all appeared on the series, leaving many to wonder if ABC would be able to convince any of the other film stars to make an appearance.
While we still don’t know their plans for season three guest stars, there is one Avenger that would be open to making an appearance. While at a recent Wizard World stop, Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) said he’d “love” to do it if asked.

Get on it, ABC!
AMA With VFX Supervisor On Daredevil
The VFX supervisor for Daredevil recently held an AMA over on Reddit, where he revealed a few fun bits of information. One of the most interesting was his response to a question regarding the Avengers tower. If you’ll recall, in a teaser video revealed by Marvel shortly before the show was released on Netflix, fans were able to make out the Avengers tower in the background. This immediately led to all sorts of speculation. We know that everything within the MCU exists in the same universe, so it shouldn’t have come as much of a surprise, but seeing the tower in the show? That led many to believe that the Avengers could show up in the Netflix series.
Of course, that has yet to happen, and from what Bryan Godwin has to say, it seems unlikely that’ll change anytime soon as he has revealed no visual effect shots were done for the tower on Daredevil. Meaning that tease from earlier? It was definitely just that, a tease.
Godwin also revealed that the team over at Shade VFX is currently working on Jessica Jones which recently wrapped production. He also confirmed in a few separate comments that they will return to work on season two of Daredevil, which is currently filming in New York.
For those curious as to what the turn around rate is for the visual effects, Godwin averages that it takes around two weeks per episode.
Extended Avengers: Age of Ultron Scene Featuring Maria Hill
While Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) hasn’t been confirmed for Captain America: Civil War – which recently wrapped production in Germany – it does seem more than likely that we’ll see her appear in the film next May. Especially if this extended scene from Avengers: Age of Ultron is anything to go by.
Captain America: Civil war will hit movie theaters on May 6th, 2016.
