Michael Rooker made an appearance as a guest at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in Atlanta last weekend where he was interviewed by the folks over at Comicbook.com. During the short interview, Rooker gave some insights to Yondu’s involvement in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as well as Avengers: Infinity War. Regarding where the character stands in the highly anticipated sequel, which will hit theaters in 2017, the actor jokingly noted not too much has changed.

I’m just as blue as before, and I have a great mohawk,I’m just as blue as before, and I have a great mohawk”

Rooker was also asked how Yondu’s relationship with the Guardians has changed since the first film. The actor declined to give away details, but stressed that Yondu’s relationship with the Guardians may be more complex.

“There’s always a little grey area, and grey area is fun to do too.”

In addition, Comicbook.com tried to press the actor for details regarding his role in Avengers: Infinity War, however, the actor would not confirm or deny his involvement in the film. This denial was not unexpected, as several other Marvel actors have also refused to clarify their involvement in that film as well.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit the big screen on May 5th, 2017.
