With season two of Daredevil less than two days away, and a final trailer just released yesterday, we have plenty to look forward to for the next installment of this Netflix show. But this morning, a new featurette was released that builds the excitement up even further.
The new featurette – which you can view above – includes interviews with Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal as they talk about what is coming in season two, particularly in regards to both Daredevil and The Punisher.
We hear The Punisher being described as an army attacking Hell’s Kitchen, followed by Daredevil interrogating somebody that appears to be a victim of one of The Punisher’s attacks as the victim explains that it is just one man.
Bernthal, who has proven both his love and respect of the character over the past few months, went on to explain that he doesn’t see the Punisher as a villain.
He’s not a villain, he’s not a superhero, he’s trying to make people pay for what they’ve done… Daredevil’s brand of justice is ridiculous to Frank. As dark as he is, inside is a man who has suffered real loss.
This clip is full of excitement, showing fight scenes between Daredevil and The Punisher, as well as bits between Matt Murdock and Karen Page where they discuss how Daredevil may have given The Punisher the idea that it’s okay to go forward with his particular type of vigilante justice.
One thing that is for sure is that there is plenty of excitement coming our way on Friday, when Season Two of Daredevil premieres. Will you be watching the moment it drops on Netflix?
