We’re a little over a week away from Daredevil hitting Netflix, and Marvel has dropped a new TV spot teasing the rise of the first Defender.

Also, as the embargo has been lifted, reviews for the series are starting to make their way online. If you were worried about the show, having seen the 2003 film, fear not — the reviews so far have been quite positive!

From Variety: “Marvel has shrewdly expanded its portfolio, and Netflix has upped its must-have quotient with a fiercely loyal segment of consumers. Viewed that way, costume or no costume, “Daredevil” looks dressed for success”

From Screencrush:”In earnest, I’ve never had to collect as many thoughts on a series in only 5 of 13 episodes, but fear not, citizens of superhero fatigue. Daredevil was well-worth the wait, and breaks the Marvel movie mold with bone-crunching delight. It’s everything Nolan’s Batman never had time to explore, everything Arrow wants to be without network boundaries, and exactly the street-level drama Marvel needs to complete its superhero world.”

Updated to add a new clip.
Charlie Cox appeared on Good Day New York this morning to promote Daredevil, and while he was there, they unveiled a clip from the show featuring Night Nurse (Rosario Dawson).
