While Agent Carter‘s second season was unfortunately pushed back by two weeks due to the State of the Union Address, that hasn’t stopped Marvel and ABC from amping up their marketing campaign. We’ve already seen two posters for Agent Carter‘s second season, the first being a SDCC exclusive, and the other being a NYCC exclusive, but now, thanks to the folks over at IGN, we have a third poster – and it’s a nice callback to season one’s simplistic poster.
Here is the synopsis for Agent Carter‘s second season:
Due to the scheduling of the State of the Union Address on January 12, “Marvel’s Agent Carter” will return for a second season of adventure and intrigue on a new date, TUESDAY, JANUARY 19, with a two-hour season premiere (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network, starring Hayley Atwell in the title role of the unstoppable agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve). Dedicated to the fight against new Atomic Age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home – perhaps even a new love – she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.
“Marvel’s Agent Carter” stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Enver Gjokaj as Chief Daniel Sousa, Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost, Reggie Austin as Jason Wilkes and Chad Michael Murray as Chief Jack Thompson. Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Chris Dingess, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb are executive producers.
The second season of Agent Carter will kick off on ABC on January 19th with a two-hour season premiere. Be sure to tune in!
