As we near closer to the end of the year, we can expect the folks over at Marvel Studios to steadily begin ramping up their marketing campaigns for both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, two films that are sure to take over the box office next summer. So far, we’ve seen a poster for Vol. 2, as well as a short teaser for the film, but with Homecoming, Marvel and Sony haven’t revealed very much. We did get a look at a poster that was revealed earlier this year from a convention, but that has sadly been about it as far as marketing goes for Spidey’s first solo film set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With both Homecoming and Vol. 2 confirmed to make a showing at an upcoming convention in Brazil, however, I’d expect that to change relatively soon. Which is why, although the below promo image that hit the internet earlier today for Homecoming is a nice surprise, it’s not entirely shocking that marketing materials are beginning to come out.

For now, we’ll probably have to wait until December’s CCXP in Brazil to get any more promo material from Marvel, be it a new poster or even a trailer, so this is as good as it gets for the time being folks!
Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit the big screen on July 7th, 2017.
