With New York Comic Con 2015 having come to an end yesterday, now seems like a good time to take a look back on everything that happened over the course of the four day long event.

Agent Carter

During the Agents of Primetime panel on Friday, it was announced that four new cast members had joined the cast for season two: Wynn Everett, Currie Graham, Lotte Verbeek and Reggie Austin. During the panel, Marvel and ABC also revealed a sneak peek of footage from the upcoming second season which you can read more about here.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Prior to the Agents of Primetime panel later in the evening, Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet made an appearance at the Wikia booth for a Q&A with fans where they teased what we an expect from the third season. As for the panel, the S.H.I.E.L.D. portion of the panel was short since Marvel and ABC premiered a new episode for fans. Curious as to what you can expect from this Tuesday’s episode titled “A Wanted (Inhu)man”? Head over here to see what our own Doug Herring had to say.

Undoubtedly, the most awaited Marvel panel were the Netflix ones. Fan anticipation for these shows is at an all time high, with Jessica Jones set to hit screens in a little over a month and two Netflix series – Daredevil and Luke Cage – in simultaneous production.

The first of these panels was for the second season of Daredevil. Jeph Loeb treated fans with a quick tease of the upcoming season. We got glimpses of the new Daredevil suit, Elektra and the Punisher.

After the tease, the entire main cast went out for a short panel discussing the creative processes behind their respective characters. We were also officially introduced to the new showrunners for season two – Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez.

Despite not much being revealed compared to last year’s Daredevil panel, fans generously showed their appreciation and excitement towards the new cast members and showrunners.

In addition to the panel, Marvel has launched a website aptly named Nelson and Murdock Law where fans can download a new Daredevil piece by artist extraordinaire David Mack. The same piece can be seen on the cover of the new Jessica Jones one-shot comic release by Marvel & Netflix to promote the upcoming series.

Jessica Jones

The best was saved for last! The Jessica Jones panel was the clear winner of them all. We all got great revealing details surrounding some of the mystique of some cast members; Wil Traval‘s character is an iteration of classic Daredevil villain Nuke while Carrie-Anne Moss is a gender-swapped inspired take on longtime Iron Fist ally Jeryn Hogarth.

David Tennant was sadly absent from the panel but made up for it by greeting fans via video. Being the gentleman that Kilgrave is, David Tennant generously promised a clip to be shown to fans. The clip, of course, ended up being the entire first episode of the series which sent the crowd into a frenzy! Surprisingly, no trailer was released to public after the panel.

The icing on the cake for this entire Netflix panel was seeing Charlie Cox, Mike Colter and Krysten Ritter all on stage for the very first time since the Netflix announcement. It was like seeing the Avengers all together on stage for the first time.

Kind of having a moment of way too much excitement #daredevil #jessicajones #lukecage #nycc

While New York Comic Con 2015 may be over, there’s still plenty of excitement to look forward to on the Marvel Cinematic Universe front. Along with the third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which currently airs every Tuesday at 9PM EST, we can expect casting announcements for Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 while we patiently await the November 20th release of Jessica Jones on Netflix!
