After recent rumors regarding a possible appearance by the Shocker in Spider-Man: Homecoming dropped a few months ago, we took them with a grain of salt. The rumors up to this point have been unsubstantiated, but thanks to Twitter, we may have our first possible look at the Shocker on set in Atlanta.

The photos show an actor (presumably Bokeem Woodbine) in full costume as Herman Schultz, aka the Shocker. While we’ve seen several versions of the character over the years in television shows and video games, this is potentially the first time the character will be seen on screen. Some creative liberties have been taken with the costume in order to somewhat ground him in the MCU, but the mask, vest, and gauntlets are all fairly close to the source material, keeping with the same brown and yellow colors used in the classic version. While still blurry and unofficial, these shots have given us our most concrete evidence thus far on the Shocker’s inclusion in the film. We’ll have to wait and see if they turn out to be legitimate.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7th, 2017 and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr., Zendaya, and Marisa Tomei.
