While we all impatiently wait for more Inhumans casting news, we bring new good tidings from the land of New Orleans, the production hub of Freeform’s Cloak and Dagger. Thanks to an Instagram post by director Gina Prince-Bythewood, we now know that filming for their pilot has wrapped!

Filming for the pilot began sometime last week which should give some of you production nerds an idea on how long it takes to finish shooting an hours’ worth of TV. The series is currently set to premiere early next year but given how they’re filming several months ahead, there is that possibility of the show premiering before the year ends. If that turns out to be the case, we can expect the rest of season to start shooting very soon.

Just last week, Marvel announced the ensemble that would round off the supporting cast for Cloak and Dagger; an announcement that’s making every Inhumans fan jealous. We have a full cast announcement for a show that isn’t premiering until next year and a single but awesome cast announcement from a show premiering in a couple of months. We need our Inhumans casting fix!
