Hot on the heels of this week’s second episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., ABC has wasted no time in teasing audiences of what’s to come next week. They have just released a batch of new stills from next week’s episode, focusing mainly on Robbie Reyes and his brother, Gabe. In the comics, Gabe was born without use of his legs, binding him to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. From the stills, we can see that this element of the comics is being directly translated on screen. In the comics, Gabe was also raised by his brother, but we’ll have to wait for next week’s episode to see if this aspect of their relationship has been changed. The stills also give us a brief glimpse of Coulson, Mack, Fitz, and Simmons, but the context of these images is fairly inconclusive, and it’s hard to say exactly what’s going on. Finally, the images give us a look at Parminder Nagra’s anti-inhuman politician character, along with John Hannah’s Holden Radcliffe, one of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s scientists who works closely with Fitz.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns next week in its new time slot at 10|9 Central on ABC.
