Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 really is shaping up to have quite a cast. Outside of the main Guardians, the sequel boasts a stellar supporting cast with Sylvester Stallone, Elizabeth Debicki, Kurt Russel and Tommy Flanagan to name a few. We now have confirmation for one more actor joining the crew, as Rob Zombie tweeted out that he recorded some lines for the upcoming film:

Rob Zombie has quite a background in film, having directed the recent 31, both Halloween remakes, The Devil’s Rejects and many more. This is actually not his first time appearing in a James Gunn film, as he also played God in Super, or Dr. Karl in Slither. Each time he only did a voice-over, which is a tradition for Gunn’s films. Something the director reminded us about in a tweet of his own:

If you were wondering, Zombie did in fact also appear in Guardians of the Galaxy. Once again, he only offered his voice to the film, playing a Ravager Navigator. It could be that he is returning to this unnamed character, but of course there is also the possibility he’s playing a different role. Nathan Fillion lent his voice to the blue alien from the Kyln in the original Guardians, but in the sequel will appear as Simon Williams, who many comic fans will recognize as Wonder Man.

Who do you think he will be playing? Will he return as a Ravager Navigator, or could he also be playing a different role this time around?

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5, 2017.
