Warning: This post contains possible spoilers for the identities of some supporting characters in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. If you would like them to remain a mystery, I suggest turning away now.
Update: ComicBookMovie has followed up on their initial report to correct themselves on Chris Sullivan‘s character. It appears he is actually playing a character named Taserface instead of Tsarface. The most interesting part of this is James Gunn has previously bashed the character, saying his chances of appearing are “quite low.” Taserface is a smaller character who has previously fought the Guardians in the comics.
You can read the original report below.
Marvel is right in the middle of filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and so far the movie is being guarded very closely. There have been plenty of rumors about the identity of Star-Lord’s dad, Stallone being cast, and even a talking planet appearing. Most of this was completely ignored by Marvel when they revealed the official cast list.
With there being plenty of character’s names that remain a mystery, Elizabeth Debicki and Chris Sullivan are among those from the official cast list. There is also the rumored role that Tommy Flanagan will have, but thanks to ComicBookMovie, we may know the names for each of them. According to their source, Debicki is playing a character called Ayesha, Flanagan is Tullk, and Sullivan is Tsarface.
For Debicki, the speculation is that it could be Paragon/Kismet from the comics. She definitely matches the look with the character being 6’6″ in the comics and her being 6’3″ in real life. Her origin is closely tied to Adam Warlock as she was created by the same group, Enclave, in an effort to replicate their success. Due to the fact that she also emerges from a cocoon, is she who is actually in the one the Collector has and not Warlock like many suspected?
Flanagan’s Tullk is a smaller character in the comics whose full name is Tullk Ul-Zyn. His character has previously been rumored to be a member of Yondu’s Ravagers, and he could be easily adapted to fit withing the group. Should this be true, I’ll be excited to see more practical looking aliens in the sequel.
Sullivan’s Tsarface looks to be an original character for the film, so it is hard to say who he is and what role he’ll have.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to hit theaters May 5, 2017.
