Empire has just posted a very spoilerfic Podcast with Directors Joe & Anthony Russo, as well as Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige. The Podcast begins with the the directors of the Captain America: Civil War, The Russo Brothers, whom mostly discuss the film and the lead up to Avengers: Infinity War. At 38 mins in, Feige takes over and mostly discusses the same thing. He does briefly mention Spider-Man: Homecoming and talks about the good working relationship they have with Sony. Finally, at the end of the interview, he does make a pretty solid statement on the in-flux of the Inhumans film that was due to close out Phase 3.

It [Inhumans] is not going to be a part of Phase 3, because Phase 3 increased – in a very big way since we initially announced it. Where and where and how it pops up remains to be seen, but it’s characters we love and it’s a story line we love and we just didn’t wanna cram it into an already quite full Phase 3.

Given Feige’s previous comments regarding the Inhumans film, and him always making it a point to be as open as possible regarding upcoming films, it’s clear that the film is definitely still coming – it’s just that, as of right now, they’re not sure when. Sometime in Phase Four is, unfortunately, the soonest we’ll see the Inhumans brought to life on the big screen.

Check out the Podcast below for some other interesting details regarding Captain America: Civil War which is currently in theaters.

As always, for all things Inhumans be sure to follow along here.
