Even though Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is still over 8 months away, the first trailer is expected to release any time now. Now, thanks to Trailer Track, we now have an actual idea of when to expect that first trailer.

Today the BBFC have classified the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Marvel film, just in time for it to debut with the UK release of Doctor Strange on October 25th.

The trailer will be available for both 2D and 3D theaters and has a runtime of 1:29 minutes. Below is a screengrab of the trailer’s classification.


Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, which was written and directed by James Gunn, stars Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Michael Rooker (Yondu), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Kurt Russell (Ego the Living Planet), Dave Bautista (Drax), Vin Diesel (Groot), and Bradley Cooper (Rocket), is set to hit the big screen on May 5th, 2017.
