Yesterday’s Marvel Hall H panel at SDCC presented us with plenty of goodies, from casting announcements, to character confirmations, and plenty of footage descriptions. To say it was a big day for Marvel fans would be putting it lightly. But some of the best news to come from the panel revolved around Spider-Man: Homecoming, a film that has been shrouded in mystery for the most part. Not only was Michael Keaton‘s Vulture finally confirmed thanks to some sneak footage that premiered at SDCC, but it appears that at least one other cast member’s role has been revealed as well. Tony Revolori, who was rumored to be playing Flash Thompson, has since been confirmed as such. Apparently the news was revealed while the actor was making his way through the press line.
Fun fact from the Marvel press line: Tony Revolori is playing Flash – as in Thompson – in Spider-Man: Homecoming. #sdcc

This is a pretty nice surprise given that when the actor was first cast, it was reported that he’d be playing a character named Manuel. Are you excited to see Revolori as Thompson? Sound off in the comments below!
