Ever since his debut in the first season of Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio quickly earned a place among the greatest villains in the MCU with is portrayal of the villainous Wilson Fisk. He brought the beloved character to life in an emotional, layered performance that left fans hungry to see more of the Kingpin of crime in other Marvel shows. Ever since his brief surprise appearance in the second season of Daredevil last year however, we haven’t exactly been sure where we can expect to see him show up again.
Over the past couple of months, D’Onofrio has definitely let fans know where the Kingpin won’t be showing up. So far, he has clarified that Fisk won’t make an appearance in The Defenders or any movie franchises anytime soon (you can read up on his comments on The Defenders and film franchise appearance comments here and here, respectively). Now, it seems that we can add The Punisher to the list of shows from which Kingpin will be absent. D’Onofrio recently took to Twitter to directly address the rumors that Fisk would meet up with the Punisher again in the upcoming solo series:

Ever since Fisk went head to head with Frank Castle in an amazing prison fight scene, fans have been begging for a rematch. Sadly, it seems like that won’t be happening anytime soon. What do you think? If Fisk isn’t appearing in The Punisher, where do you think he should show up again? Sound off in the comments below!
The Punisher is set to premiere on Netflix sometime this year, and stars Jon Bernthal, Ben Barnes, and Deborah Ann Woll.
