If you’re a fan of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and you’ll be attending this year’s WonderCon, this may be of interest to you. As they’ve done in the past, for both NYCC and SDCC, Marvel and ABC have released an exclusive WonderCon poster that’ll be available at the Marvel booth during the con. Given that there’s been no word regarding the “Art of Evolution” poster series Marvel and ABC tend to do for the second half of S.H.I.E.L.D. every season, this new poster is a nice surprise. Especially considering just how perfectly it captures the third season. Not only do we see Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) front and center as she moves into a leadership role with the Secret Warriors, but we also see Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) struggle to overcome Rosalind’s (Constance Zimmer) death.

Along with revealing the poster, Entertainment Weekly had the chance to speak with executive producer Jeff Bell about the print, which was illustrated by Mike McKone (Amazing Spider-Man, New Avengers) and colored by Jason Keith (Death of Wolverine).

“It feels to me like there’s a couple of things going on here, and one of them is that Coulson has returned sort of changed from what happened on the other planet,” executive producer Jeff Bell tells EW of the piece, “And though externally he’s acting like it’s no big deal, I think we see him feeling like, ‘What did I do,’ ‘Was it the right thing to do,’ ‘Is this my fault’ … all those questions. And so there’s a big emotional component going on. And for Daisy, it’s more of a stepping-up. It’s what he’s been grooming her for, specifically having so many powered people around. And she’s the person to lead that.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays on ABC at 9 PM. Be sure to tune in! And as always, for all things S.H.I.E.L.D. be sure to follow along here.
