Agent Carter was officially renewed for a second season back in May and since then, we haven’t heard very much in terms of the cast going into this second season. With the show moving to Hollywood for the second season, it’s still unclear just how much of the cast from season one will return. So far, the only cast members confirmed for season two are Chad Michael Murray (Agent Thompson), Enver Gjokaj (Agent Sousa), James D’Arcy (Jarvis), and Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, of course. It has also been said that Dominic Cooper is expected to return as Howard Stark, but there’s still been no official word regarding Lyndsy Fonseca (Angie Martinelli ) or Bridget Regan (Dottie Underwood). Hopefully, that will not be the case too much longer as season two has officially entered production!

Thanks to tweets by both Atwell as well as Marvel TV executive Wendy Willming, we now know that Agent Carter season today began filming today.

While we await confirmation on the rest of the returning cast, let’s not forget that there will also be a couple of new characters joining season two as both Madame Masque and Jarvis’ wife will be added to the show, and given that Masque has already been cast, that announcement can’t be too far behind now.

Agent Carter season one will hit DVD and Blu-Ray on September 18th, and while there has not been a confirmed release date for the second season, it’s presumed it’ll run in early January as was the case with the first season.

As always, for all things Agent Carter be sure to follow along here.
