Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s 100th episode may prove to be the show’s most impactful episode yet. While we have yet to learn what the story behind Coulson’s deal with Ghost Rider is, Natalie Abrams from Entertainment Weekly got the jump on two very interesting returning additions to the episode. If you do not want to be spoiled be sure not to continue reading, as these are truly some rather unexpected additions.
According to Abrams, the 100th episode will have feature the return of Hive and Lash, two prominent characters from the third season. There is a chance that we get some kind of flashback that gives the show the opportunity to re-use these characters, as they have both passed away. This also opens up the possibility that we may see a tribute to Season 1’s big bad, John Garrett, as Bill Paxton sadly passed away. There are so many possibilities moving forward that I hope we might even finally get a return of Graviton, as Gravitonium played an important part in keeping the Lighthouse’s gravity in space. Perhaps we could also finally see Mike Peterson a.k.a. Deathlok makes a return, as J. August Richards was an important part of the pilot episode.
