Ever since Ant-Man and the Wasp started production in Atlanta early last month, set photos have slowly started to trickle in, and so far it looks awesome. So far, we’ve seen set photos of nearly all of the main characters, including Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, and Walton Goggins. We’ve even gotten a great look at Evangeline Lily fully suited up as the Wasp, and she looks killer. Now, we’re getting our first on-set look at Ant-Man’s new threads for the upcoming sequel. Check it out below!

Obviously this a stunt double and not Paul Rudd, but it’s still a great look at his new suit (or at least the top half). There is definitely a lot more red on the shoulders and the gauntlets have gotten a new remodeling. Overall, the suit is starting to look much more like the classic version from the comics than any previous version seen on screen, and we’re totally okay with that.
Also, can we take a minute to appreciate the fact how awesome and inspiring it is to see a man with disabilities such as that make it as a stuntman? Kudos to Marvel for giving him that opportunity and to him for overcoming adversity.
What do you think of Ant-Man’s new suit? Let’s talk about it in the comments below!
Ant-Man and the Wasp hits theaters on July 6, 2018.
