It is amazing to think that we are only a few months away from Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios is starting off the year strong with Captain Marvel next month and shortly after we will witness what the MCU looks like after Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War. The first trailers teased the rather dark world that we are heading into where many people had to face a very sudden loss. Now, we even have some hints that Endgame might end up as a 3 hour film, which would be fitting to how it may end up being the last time we see many of our favorite characters. The closer we get to the film’s release, the more one realizes the meaning of the film’s subtitle. The recently released Super Bowl teaser certainly continued the rather dark theme that awaits us once the film releases in April. Now, Disney Australia also released a rather grim synopsis for Marvel Studios’ upcoming epic.

“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”

That last sentence is a rather interesting confirmation that the Avengers will probably go beyond to bring back the friend’s they lost. Especially the Super Bowl teaser showed Rogers ready to do whatever it takes to make Thanos pay for what he has done and set things right. This might be the darkest turn for the character, especially after he spent the entire last film stating that no one gets sacrificed. To his dismay, he wasn’t able to keep his promise to Vision and had to watch as the stone was ripped straight out of his head. Throw in the fact that he has no idea what happened to Tony, who is lost in space with Nebula. Hopefully, he won’t repeat the thing that ended up with him frozen for 70 years.

What do you think of the synopsis?
