As production for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War rolls on, yet another casting call for extras in the film has been issued, this time seeking people from different ethnic backgrounds. You can check out the casting call from Central Georgia Casting below!

Help us to create the melting pot that is NYC! We are looking for men and women (over the age of 18) of all different ethnic backgrounds. Specifically looking for people who can bring their own traditional apparel or cultural clothing from around the world. SEE REFERENCE PHOTOS for some ideas of what we’re looking for. Must have TOTAL FLEXIBILITY & open schedule as you will be needed for multiple days throughout June & July, including weekdays and weekends. Must also be able to work in both Fayetteville AND downtown Atlanta, as you will be needed for mandatory recalls at both locations. NEW FACES ONLY! Do NOT submit if you have ever worked on this project.

The casting call also included four photos for reference, so make sure you check out this link to the actual casting call for full details! It’s definitely refreshing to see that MCU films are starting to create a more diversified landscape in their films. Jon Watts, director of Spider-Man: Homecoming, was also very adamant about creating a diversified environment in his film that was more reflective of what a real New York City high school would actually look like. As a result, the film also issued similar casting calls for people of many different ethnic backgrounds to play Midtown High students. We hope that this diversification of MCU films continues, and moves beyond the extras and supporting cast members to feature minorities and ethnic characters as leading characters. With the release of next year’s Black Panther, we will see our MCU film led by a minority, and we hope that more and more films will follow suit. Lastly, this casting call confirms that Infinity War will come back to Atlanta to film sometime this month, continuing through at least into July. Filming is currently underway in New York City, but the massive production will see another company move back into the Peach State later this month.
