If you have been following some of the features we have been putting out lately, you may have read one about the lack of Wong in Doctor Strange. Little did we know that just a few days later, the character would actually join the movie.
The Hollywood Reporter has just reported that actor Benedict Wong (The Martian, Marco Polo) has been cast as Wong, Doctor Strange’s sidekick. Some had thought he could be left off to avoid troubling stereotypes, but just as how they have changed The Ancient One, I’m trusting they will be doing this in a non-offensive way.
Doctor Strange is scheduled to hit theaters November 4, 2016.
