After months of principal production, which began back in May, it appears that filming on Black Widow, the first film of Phase Four – an incredibly exciting sentence to write – has wrapped. There’s still a lot we don’t know about the film – William Hurt was spotted on set a few days ago, despite having not been announced, nor rumoured, for the film – but now the very secretive shoot has come to an end.

Thanks to an Instagram post from Lucy Jayne Murray, one of the film’s stunt-women, we know that filming wrapped this past Sunday, following a number of the film’s stars wrapping their scenes over the last few weeks.

We don’t know when Scarlett Johansson wrapped her scenes on the film – though given she’s also a producer it’s probably a safe bet she was there until the end – but we do know that Florence Pugh, who’s playing Yelena Belova, the new Black Widow, wrapped filming last week, thanks to this Instagram story post.

Meanwhile, David Harbour, who’s playing the Red Guardian in the film, wrapped filming last month, releasing an Instagram post of his own, where he bid farewell to the character and his experiences on the film.

With Black Widow set for release on May 1, 2020, it shouldn’t be too long before we have our hands on the first official trailer for the project, especially given that footage has been repeatedly screening at various events over the past few months – we’ll let you know as soon as that drops, alongside any other coming announcements.
