When it comes to the Netflix shows, things have been relatively quiet in regards to Iron Fist. Outside of the announcement that Scott Buck would be serving as the showrunner, Marvel hasn’t said much else. In fact, they’ve continued to remain quiet, even after news broke last week that Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones had been cast as Danny Rand/Iron Fist. So, it’s always exciting to come across another bit of news, even if it isn’t casting news. Which is why when one of our Twitter followers discovered some information over the weekend regarding the stunt coordinator for the series, it was a nice little surprise.

When asked by a fan who would be working on the series, Philip J Silvera, who has worked as the stunt coordinator on Daredevil, confirmed it would be Marco Polo‘s Brett Chan. (You can see the Twitter exchange below.) Chan has quite an impressive resume, having worked on not only Marco Polo for Netflix, where he’s currently serving as the stunt coordinator, but also projects like X-Men 2, The Flash, and Arrow, in which he served as a stunt performer.

For those that haven’t yet watched Marco Polo, such as myself, the video below should give you an idea of Chan’s work.

Chan is definitely a great pick when it comes to Iron Fist and I can’t wait to see what he brings to the show along with the rest of the stunt team.

For all things Iron Fist be sure to follow along here.
