In early August, we dropped some details about the upcoming Captain Marvel film. Included among them was an explanation for why Carol Danvers, who has been powered up since the 1990s, hasn’t been helping out as the world has come under attack. While a new writer has since come on board (meaning almost anything from our scoop could be out the window now…), we still do not believe that Danvers will play much of a role, if any, in Avengers: Infinity War. She was always intended, however, to make a reappearance for Avengers 4 and now, according to Atlanta Filming, Brie Larson is on location for the 2019 film!

While we don’t have any details on just how big her role might be, this could be the beginning of a busy year for Larson. Captain Marvel is set to begin production in February, so it’s possible she may move right from one film to the next and be suited up as Captain Marvel until next spring! Regardless, the wait is on for some leaked set photos of Larson alongside the rest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!
Captain Marvel will be in theaters March 8, 2019 followed by Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019!
