D23 2019 has been another exciting showcase for Marvel Studios, with a few new announcements for their Phase 4 films along with a huge offering of news regarding their venture into Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+. Three brand new shows revealed, a couple huge new cast members brought on stage (looking at you, Kit Harrington), and brand new insight into Marvel’s biggest phase to date. Thanks to a new report from DiscussingFilm today, we know that Marvel’s first animated series, What If..?, has brought on Ashley (A.C.) Bradley as the writer and Bryan Andrews as the director!

Both new additions to the show have a successful background in the animation world. Bradley spent the last three years as a writer/director on Trollhunters: Tales of Acadia ands also done some work on the wildly popular Arrow on CW. Andrews has made his name as the storyboard artist on Cartoon Network’s long-running series Samauri Jack, and he has an extensive history with Marvel’s art department for half of the MCU’s released movies, including all 4 Avengers titles. What If…? has been a huge hit all weekend, and fans are looking forward to all the new stories Marvel will explore from the Infinity Saga!
