The mystery continues for the enigma of a film that is Avengers 4 with the inclusion of Emma Fuhrmann, a teenage actress revealed by our friends at That Hashtag Show to be playing Cassie Lang, the daughter of Ant-Man. Originally spotted in an IMDB listing for the untitled Avengers film, our THS friends did their due diligence and reached out to their inside source who confirmed the character’s inclusion.
So what gives? We already have a Cassie Lang with child actress Abby Ryder Fortson. Why would they need a teenage version of her? As with anything involving Avengers 4 whose title we have yet to hear, it’s hard to tell. We can only speculate that parts of the film take place in the near future where Scott Lang’s daughter is now in her teens. Maybe we could see the makings of a Stature/Young Avengers-esque introduction, Cassie’s superhero alter-ego and team in the comics.
