After much waiting, Cloak and Dagger now has an official release date and the promotion of the show is kicking into gear. While very little in the way of plot or character details has come out, we are starting to get a better sense of who is going to be in the show. The latest news comes from Chloe Bennet, better known to many as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Quake.

Ally Maki is best known for her work on Wrecked, but even that show is not a particularly well known program. As of yet there are no details about her role. At 32 years old, one would assume they aren’t going to squeeze her into the role of a classmate of the titular heroes, so maybe a teacher or adult influence on the kids? The casting does continue Marvel’s run of casting diverse casts for their shows (as we discussed on the most recent Marvel News Desk).
