This seem a bit overdue, especially since the trailer has already been released, but Andy Park, Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development, has finally released his concept art of Carol Danvers in costume that was shown to attendees at Comic-Con over a year ago in sweet, sweet, high definition.
I absolutely LOVED creating this design of @brielarson as #CaptainMarvel ! Based on the awesome comic book looks by @McKelvie & @kristaferanka It was a pleasure taking those & translating it for the big screen & for the story we are telling on this film. @MarvelStudios pic.twitter.com/4lNWin4Imz

Compared to what Brie Larson is wearing in the recent trailer, it seems like the concept art for the costume was translated almost exactly. However, upon closer inspection, it does seem like this concept art differs slightly from what was shown at Comic-Con; such as Brie Larson having longer hair, more accurately depicting her face, and her now having fingerless gloves.
It’s great to see Andy Park so enthusiastic about his work on Captain Marvel and the story they plan on telling, which just makes me even more impatient for the inevitable art book for this movie.
