While the first season of Daredevil proved to be a hit among fans and critics alike, there was one thing that managed to divide nearly everyone that watched the series – the “red” costume Daredevil wore at the end of the season.

Instead of the red costume fans expected to see (as made famous by the comics), the titular hero ended up sporting a maroon suit with patches of black throughout, with no sign of the DD logo anywhere in sight. Going into season two, it’s expected that we’ll see the costume go through another change or two, and while we have a little over a month to wait in order to see if that ends up happening, two pieces of concept art from season one have made their way online, teasing two completely different variations of the final suit.

While I actually didn’t mind the suit from season one, as it seemed practical for both the character and the show, I can’t help but to wonder what the first design would have looked like on screen. It seems like a nice combination between the costume from the comics and the one from the series. Which one do you prefer? The suit from the show, or one of the suits displayed in these pieces of concept art? Sound off in the comments below!

Along with the two pieces of concept art, Netflix released a new trailer to celebrate the Chinese New Year. You can watch the short teaser below, which features a quick tease of the Punisher.

The second season of Daredevil will hit Netflix on March 18th, 2016. Until then, you can watch the first season again on Netflix now.
