ABC and Marvel have released the promo for episode 4×11 of *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The episode is entitled ‘Wake Up’, and continues the overarching ‘LMD’ story arc. The Promo features Dr. Holden Radcliffe (John Hannah) and AIDA (Mallory Jensen) overseeing their prisoner, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen). The trailer also shows Agent Phil Coulson(Clark Gregg) and Yo-Yo (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) seemingly being arrested and framed for a crime by Senator Ellen Nadeer (Parminder Nagra)
Interestingly, the promo showcases a fight between Agent May and the LMD, AIDA. It remains unclear whether Agent May will succeed in her escape. Agent Coulson’s remarks about a possible leak within S.H.I.E.L.D. may indicate a traitor in their midst. Whether Coulson is referring to an LMD traitor or he is indicating being framed is also not clear. There are at least two moles inside the organization currently, the imposter Melinda May, and Jeffrey Mace (Jason O’Mara) who is being blackmailed by Senator Nadeer.
Most notably, the synopsis released for the upcoming episode teases AIDA as being a threat to the entire team. The first iteration of AIDA’s decapitated head is currently being studied at S.H.I.E.L.D., meaning there are currently two models of the android in existence. Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) can be seen in the trailer being chided by Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) for putting everyone at risk. This could possibly be due to Leo Fitz working on restoring the first iteration of AIDA in the previous episode.
