Among them is Marvel’s attempt at a surreal comedy with WandaVision which will see the return of Vision from beyond the grave. The D23 Disney+ panel gave us some more insight into what we can expect from the upcoming show.
WandaVision is described as being a classic sitcom combined with the usual MCU spectacular. They utilized Dick Van Dyke Show footage cut into movie footage from the two characters to showcase what feeling one can expect from the show. It is a rather unique take and adds a lot of variety to the ever-expanding MCU. Kevin Feige will offer us quite a psychedelic series especially with the series leading directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. They highlighted the panel with the 50s and 60s music which continues to confirm the inspiration the show will take from the incredible Vision run where he lived in suburbia with his family by Tom King and Gabriel Hernandez Walta. It is a really unique take within the MCU and could offer some rather memorable and potentially creepy moments.
