No this isn’t April 1st and no somebody didn’t secretly read your MCU wish list. The Wrap is reporting that Marvel and ABC are working on putting together a TV series based on the comic series Damage Control.

For those unfamiliar, Damage Control was a series based around the cleanup crews behind all of the major Superhero destruction in the Marvel comics. The Wrap is reporting that it’s planned as a 30 min Comedy and will be run by Ben Karlin, known for being an executive producer on The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, as well as a co-EP on Modern Family.

With the recent events in Sokovia being on everyones lips in the present day MCU, Inhumans popping up all over the place in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and superhero registration looming in Captain America: Civil War, Damage Control appears to be Marvel’s attempt at showing a lighthearted look into the other side of the MCU.

We’ve mentioned Damage Control being brought into the MCU before, albeit as a One-Shot, so you know we’re excited about the prospect!
